Kimberlee is one of the more experienced players selected in the team, with 13 Test caps under her belt at only 23 years of age. Kimberlee was in fantastic form during the International Test Matches and World Netball Series at the end of 2009 and she is currently in pre-season training with the NSW Swifts.

Test veteran Catherine Cox was unavailable for selection as she is currently recovering from a foot operation. Despite four other senior Diamond players being rested for the tour, coach Norma Plummer is confident her new-look group is up to the challenge.

The Diamonds will fly to the United Kingdom on Monday 8 February and their first match will be against Scotland in Glasgow.
