AJ Ogilvy has flown into the Gold Coast today to join the Australian Boomers having signed one of the most lucrative deals for a player straight out of college. Ogilvy has signed with leading Turkish Club Besiktas on a 2 year deal following a successful college career at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

Ogilvy said “I am absolutely thrilled with the contract and to be joining a team like Besiktas. They are a great team and I think the Turkish league will really suit my style of play.”

Ogilvy flew in from the US today to join the Boomers six-day camp at The Southport Stadium on the Gold Coast as they prepare for their upcoming World Championship campaign. “I am really excited to be joining up with the boys and push my case for inclusion in the team. I feel like I am in great shape but I know it is going to be a tough few days” said the 211cm Ogilvy.
