Biography:
Bulldogs Prop Chris Armit has not looked back since his rise to the top, emerging as one of the clubs impressive young players.

Chris showed great talent early, coming through the Parramatta ranks and making several representative teams along the way. Chris captained the NSW Under 19’s and after excellent performances he was rewarded with Australian Schoolboy honours and was part of the Junior Kangaroos.

With the athleticism and skill that Chris possesses, he made his NRL debut as a 19-year-old for the Parramatta Eels against the Wests Tigers in 2003. He consistently impressed with his form on the field but season 2004 was to be Chris’ last season with his junior club signing with the Bulldogs the following year.

Chris made his debut for the Bulldogs in Round One 2005 against the Dragons and has since been one of the club’s most consistent and improving players. He stood up to the task while high profile forwards were injured, playing in every match of the season and racking up some impressive statistics in the process.

In 2006 Chris Armit has once again performed extremely well, helping the Bulldogs to finish in second place on the NRL ladder and secure a place in the Preliminary final. 2007 saw Chris further his impressively dependable form, securing numerous starting appearances in the front row.

With the departure of several high profile forwards from the Bulldogs in season 2008, Chris took on extra responsibility and leadership in their forward pack.
